We play up Southeastern Conference (SEC) football because of our demographics — our members and guests are football fans. We are in the hot bed of college football; Georgia and Georgia Tech are members, as well as the owner of the Falcons. We have guests from Auburn, Alabama, LSU, and Kentucky, so we carry merchandise representing all of these teams. If Georgia and Georgia Tech are playing, we’ll have the full display with a helmet from each team, and we have apparel from State Traditions featuring the shape of each state in the team colors. This was Bobby Jones’ home course, and the display also features Bobby Jones’ famous double locker. Golf and football are very connected; almost everyone here went to one of these Southeastern Conference schools. We can’t keep in enough of the co-branded merchandise. We run through these products like crazy.
